Lotus Petal Foundation started with a dream. In 2011, it was born in a single room with six boys and a girl who came to the makeshift ‘school’ six days a week to learn. Over the years, it took pure grit, a dedicated team, individual contributors who believed in the cause and a burgeoning community that wanted to change their circumstance to reach this point.
Today , the dream has benefited 7800 children and adults and 2800 alone in the year 2019
A management graduate from XISS, Ranchi, India, he currently holds a leadership position at an MNC. He uses his years of corporate experience and strategic planning skills to give advice on matters of expansion and management at Lotus Petal Foundation.
Dr. Nandita Chakraborty
A Gold medalist doctor (MD, DNB), a marathon runner and a silent philanthropist, Dr. Nandita runs the weekly OPD in Lotus Petal and is involved in leading the monthly health camp. She says working with Lotus Petal Foundation feeds her soul.
Manish Gupta, Co-Founder of mysharedcfo.com, is a practising Chartered Accountant and an Insolvency professional. He has an outstanding professional career of over 18 years and has worked with MNCs like IBM, Genpact, Agilent Technologies in various capacity and roles. His years of Corporate Experience and expertise in F&A Domain is of immense value to Lotus Petal Foundation.
A nature lover, runner, Indian history buff and foodie by nature, Achal worked as a General Manager at Pepsico. He helps organize the periodic fund raising drives for Lotus Petal Foundation.
Madhu is a homemaker and social crusader. Her unflinching belief in the need to uplift the life of the underprivileged is what got her involved in this community. Over the years Mrs. Mehrotra`s varied skills and contacts have added value to Lotus Petal Foundation in more ways than one.

Shalabh Srivastava, Country Director
Shalabh is an advisor to Lotus Petal Foundation, in the capacity of an honorary mentor, working closely with the founder and management team of the Foundation. Shalabh currently serves as the Country Director (chief executive and whole-time director) of RTI International India, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Research Triangle Institute (RTI International), USA. RTI is a 60 year-old, independent research organization which provides technical services of research, consultancy and innovation to Govt, academia and corporates worldwide, through its 5,000 staff working across 75 countries. In India, RTI focuses on the areas of health, sanitation, water, energy, and sustainable cities. Prior to joining RTI in 2017, Shalabh worked for a couple of decades in management consulting sectors, wherein he headed verticals in the domain of energy and utilities in India. He is a chemical engineer from IIT Kharagpur, and MBA from IIM Lucknow.
Mr. Yoginder Sigh has over 20 years of experience in law practice both in Courts and as in- house corporate lawyer. He started his career as a practicing Advocate at Supreme Court of India and then moved to trial courts practice in Delhi and states in North India. In 1995 he joined as in-house corporate lawyer with a leading Non-Banking Financial Institution engaged in financing commercial vehicles. His four year stint here horned his litigation skills in High Courts and District Courts in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Madhra Pradesh. He also perused his professional and academic interest and attained Company Secretary Qualification during this time. In 1998, he joined a leading Pharma & Packaging Conglomerate venturing into then emerging sectors of Insurance, Healthcare and Information Technology. He set up a comprehensive Statutory Compliance mechanism for its manufacturing operations and helped in negotiations and drafting of various Joint Venture Agreements, he helped in setting up of its software division and in obtaining all STPI approvals. He then joined the Indian subsidiary of the Largest Direct Selling Company in the world and led the Legal, Government Affairs & Corporate Communication team in safeguarding its business interest in a very dynamic and crusader led environment, he worked to create a more conducive environment for the Industry to thrive. He Chaired the Indian Direct Selling Association and worked towards bring about legislation and regulatory clarity for the sector. His efforts led to notification of guideline for this emerging industry by a state. After over 20 years of illustrious career he ventured to set up Yogi & Partners, a boutique law firm focused on niche area of Food Laws, Economic Legislations and Corporate Legal Compliances. Yoginder Singh completed his schooling from St. Joseph’s Academy Dehra Dun, he is an alumni of Delhi University and IIM Lucknow – Noida, he is Fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and also Executive Programme in Strategy Management from Indian School of Business at Hyderabad, India.
