Lotus Petal Foundation has over 11 years of grassroots-level expertise in handling challenges faced by underprivileged children and transforming their lives through education, nutrition and skill development & livelihood support. The Foundation focuses on the holistic development of the child thus preparing them to integrate into mainstream society, leaving a long-lasting impact on the lives of the students and their families.

A healthy body leads to a healthy mind which is essential for a fair chance at overall development. Daily nutritious meals play a vital role in keeping the body healthy and diseases at bay.

For each individual, a dignified way to earn a living safely and respectably should be a basic right. Decent means of livelihood and economic stability are the key behind poverty reduction.

Our Impact

Education is one of our main areas of focus. The Vidyananda School, Pratishthan Learning Center, and Lotus Petal Sr. Secondary School impart education to underprivileged children living in the slums of Gurgaon. Lotus Petal Foundation also runs the Vidya Sahyog program under which we provide live, interactive e-learning classes and infrastructural support to partner schools in India.

Nutrition and health are taken care of under the Zero Hunger Food Bank, Aarogya Wellness, and E-Doctor Sewa initiatives.

Livelihood opportunities for students are widened by equipping them with skill development training under Jeevika Skill Development Program. We also launched the BlueKhoj program during the pandemic to connect parents of our school children to job providers. This program aimed at helping the people who had lost their jobs during the pandemic.

Even the smallest act of kindness can change lives for the better. At Lotus Petal Foundation we have a number of volunteering opportunities for those who wish to give time for the betterment of society. We offer both academic and non-academic volunteering options like teaching in the school, counselling, and library maintenance to name a few. Join our Volunteering group to provide academic support, guidance, motivation and life skill training to the students of various age groups living in the slums Gurugram, India.
